Hello 2014. What a 2013!

A lot went on this year. Our year has been full of transition, trials, growth and goodness. The best part of that? It means we are alive, breathing, wondering at His creation. And my husband, children and I are here wondering and hoping for more, more creating for 2014.

As we ring in the new year with our church family and tens of thousands of other visitors who have descended on our great city to worship the King of Kings, I wanted to share a few good books I read this year as well as a recap of some of my favorite tunes from the year.

My top reading picks of 2013

1.7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess by Jen Hatmaker
2.The Heavenly Man by Paul Hattaway
3. The First Gardner by Denise Hildreth Jones
4. Deep unto Deep by Dana Gardner
5. The Rewards of Fasting: Experiencing the Power and Affections of God by Mike Bickle and Dana Candler
(all books are available through amazon, or 4 and 5 can be found at the Forerunner bookstore. I don't make any money from putting my list of favies on here. Just wanted to share.)

Music Musts from 2013

1. ReCollection by Superchick
2. Stand in Awe by Jon Thurlow
3. Radiate by Tricia Brock
4. Campfire by Rend Collective
5. The Fourth Wall by The Vespers

What did you read this year? What CDs were your favorites? I would love to hear back from you!

May Blessings abound to you and yours, may His face shine on you for 2014.
